Christensen and the Future of Telecom: Questions

Considering the current shift in web technologies and the integration of these technologies into various professional and personal sectors of life, can we still apply old models (pre-digital) of innovation and adoption to today’s society?

Are telecom service providers going to devise new products and solutions to resist the downfall of their industry or will they be coerced into shifting toward a completely new, fully digital market?

Is it possible for a telcom community to survive without integrating into the digital market and is adopting an instant messaging model the solution for remaining relevant?
